  13.                       A Note About the Configuration...
  14.  
  15.     The configuration file contains the necessary information for the progran
  16. to be able to know the names of the ships, the information about the ships,
  17. and the path to the animation of the ship.  Tekk-Display and the configuration
  18. file have been designed to allow you to add new ships and animations as they
  19. become available.  For each ship entry, three lines of the configuration file
  20. are used, detailing the above information.  Example:

  23. !164M!242M!31M!120,000MT!220!10!2!6 in 2 banks!2f 2a!Warp 8!Warp 9!

  26.     The first line must be the name of the ship.  This will be displayed in
  27. the ship listing and on the display screen, identifying the animation.

  30.     The second line contains the information about the ship which is displayed
  31. on the info portion of the display screen.  Including, length, width, etc.
  32. A template for this information is:

  36. **You must be sure that the separate pieces of information are separated by
  37. exclamation points.  This is how the program separates the various entries.**
  38.     The third line contains the path information for the file.  This must be
  39. accurate for the program to work properly, as must the information and format
  40. of the second line.  If you are experiencing an error, this is the most
  41. probable location for the problem!
  42.     At the bottom of the configuration file are three lines:

  48.     These lines must always appear at the end of the config!  They also
  49. contain the template that may help you if you have to enter information in
  50. the future.

  53.                         Future Animations...
  54.  
  55.     New animations may be released in the future.  In this case, they will
  56. be distributed in archives containing the new animation and the two line
  57. configuration entry.  You need only to place this animation in the
  58. appropriate place and insert the two lines of text into your config file, as
  59. well as, the path for the animation, as the third inserted line!
